Shannon Town or Shannon gets its name from the river close to its territorial location. This is a town Ireland’s County Clare and has been gaining popularity amidst the traveler and tourist community in the recent times. Shannon had acquired its town status back in the year 1982, January 1st. It is situated right off the N19 road and at the start of the N18/M18 road that falls between Ennis and Limerick.
